A place to collect my manicures. Unless stated otherwise, all pictures are my own. |
Chinese New Year nails for the year of the dragon. The dragon was kind of super fun to paint, if super difficult. I think I need a thinner brush; my brushwork felt kind of chunky. Anywho, I’m happy with the end result.
The red is Bullish on OPI by OPI
Flormar 392 with black designs as an accent nail. I’m in love with this polish. Not the best formula - takes about a bajillion (and by bajillion I mean 4-5) for it to be opaque, but I think it’s supposed to just be a topcoat anyways? Point is, the silver is super pretty and glitters green and orange and blue depending on the angle of the light. It’s a pain to take off, though.
My current manicure. The gold is Goldfinger by Catrice, the glitter is Only Gold for Me by Sephora by OPI. The black I was impressed with - almost opaque after one coat.
The red is Essie - Meet me at Sunset, the blue Pop Beauty - Brave. Not impressed with either polish. The blue was kinda-opaque after four coats, but the I could still clearly see through the red after four. Part of the reason I decided to do the tips yellow
In the Bronx by Catrice. Great coverage - opaque in two coats - but it’s not quite as… bronze-y as I would have hoped. Maybe if it were a little browner…
First time doing real nail art. Been baking gingerbread, so I decided to go with a Christmas-y theme. The red is Marilyn & Me by Catrice.
Essence’s Midnight Rocker, with Andrea Fulerton chain nail decals. Application of the nail decals was super easy, but… it’s only been 2 days and the color’s beginning to wear off. And that’s with two coats of clear on top…
Been a while since I posted anything. Hmm. Anywho, this is OPI - Bullish on OPI with China Glaze - Ruby Pumps for the tips.
